Hi Everyone,
I am so happy to have finally found a way to reach out and connect with all of you beautiful souls in such a convenient way.
I wanted to share my concerns with what is happening in Iraq. The situation has left me feeling helpless because it seems that I can’t help when so many are suffering. When I close my eyes I wonder, “What is the point of knowing or experiencing the spiritual aspect of life if we can’t share it with the people who need healing the most?”
I am hoping to give collective prayers a try and make time especially for this cause on July 16, which happens to be Munirajji’s birthday. As some of you know, Munirajji is a great master, guide and mentor to me, who left his body just two years back.
I am planning to sit with my family in prayer for everyone involved in this mayhem in Iraq.
Let us pray together on this day for universal love, compassion and peace in abundance,
For the earth, which is subjected to so much violence, yet so firmly supports us to stand our ground,
For the ones who are creating so much violence, so that they can conquer the anger, rage and hatred within them that makes them inflict so much suffering to others; we pray to the universe to fill their hearts with so much love, warmth and happiness that they can channel their anger and rage in a positive way to make this world a happy and a peaceful place,
For the departed souls and the ones who were subjected to this violence while the world overlooks their plight, may God give them courage to forgive the ones who caused the destruction and overcome their traumas, losses and grief, keeping their faith alive.
I am sure if all of us pray together in spirit, the prayer would have a greater impact. Let’s keep believing that we can make change in the world and keep the universe alive. Let this prayer alleviate our feelings of helplessness and take away the inability to stop the growing destruction in the world.
